Juliana is a graphic designer and illustrator. She received her BFA in graphic design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and has worked as a jr. graphic designer for PAPER Magazine. Juliana has experience in print and publication design, and is especially interested in using design as a means of experimentation. 


A research book that addresses the need for human interaction in a digital world, specifically in regards to the New York Public Library’s ASK NYPL service. The book follows the same question asked both to a librarian and through Google, and inevitably concluding that the Google algorithm was not properly able to answer the question.
